ScanLab is a scanned negative film processor allowing to make positive
images from the negative films that would be suitable for printing,
sharing via the web etc. ScanLab's benefits compared to the similar
software solutions are its ease to use combined with (delivering the
high-quality result producing the high-quality output) to the detriment
of algorithms' simplicity and the resource consumption.
ScanLab is not Photoshop. It's not even an image processing software in
its classic meaning. It's purely a negative film processor, a virtual
photographic enlarger.
